PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

Our approach to production engineering is based on defining methodology to improve productivity. We believe that a productivity enhancement study cannot be effectively performed without proper reservoir description and characterization. Therefore, we follow a process which we refer to as a "Systems' Approach":

  • Evaluation of the production potential of a well based on current completions

  • Diagnostic methodology for the
    identification of productivity
    impairments/improvement

  • Systematic and tractable approach to
identify and quantify the mechanism of
    near- wellbore formation damage.
    Specifically, the thermodynamic (pressure,
    temperature, composition and CO 2
content) at which impairment begins to
    occur, review of secondary recovery
    methods and effects on productivity

  • Inflow performance relationships to determine well potential based on geological and petrophysical controls
  • Vertical lift performance and optimization
  • Surface facilities contraints
